Built in the neo-Baroque style in 1909 originally as Togu Goshu for the Crown Prince, Akasaka Palace became the nation’s official State Guest House for visiting dignitaries in 1974. Important guests and official visitors from around the world have stayed there ever since, including our very own current Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese!
