Issued to commemorate V‑E Day, this $2 coin features the iconic “V for Victory” design originally created by Thomas Shingles for the wartime Victory nickel. The reverse showcases a blue “V” overlaid by a torch with orange and yellow flames, maple leaves, and double‑dates “1945” & “2020”, plus Morse‑code inscription translating to “WE WIN WHEN WE WORK WILLINGLY” (English/French bilingual) and “REMEMBER / SOUVENIR.”

The obverse bears the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. This is the selective colour version, Brilliant Uncirculated, removed carefully from a Royal Canadian Mint Special Wrap Roll
