1997 Spain – 20 Euro - 20 Euro Picasso (Silver Fantasy)

This is a fantasy / exonumia piece rather than an official circulating euro coin. The obverse shows a portrait of Dora Maar within a frame with the legend ESPAÑA 20 EURO 1997, and the reverse has a portrait of Pablo Picasso with PICASSO 1881-1973 engraved around it. It was struck in .925 silver with coloured and milled details, likely as a trial or commemorative design not issued as legal tender in the euro system.
