Issued to mark the 65th Anniversary of the end of World War II, this coin features two red-colored poppies with the inscriptions “1945–2010” and “Canada 25 cents.” The obverse carries the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susan Taylor. A moving tribute struck in nickel-plated steel with selective red colorization.
