2017 United Kingdom – £5 Crown - Queen Elizabeth II Sapphire Jubilee

Issued to celebrate the Sapphire Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, marking 65 years on the throne (1952–2017). The reverse design by Glyn Davies features St Edward’s Crown with the historic Stuart Sapphire, symbolizing the Queen’s long and remarkable reign, while the obverse bears Jody Clark’s portrait of Her Majesty. This was the only official UK coin series issued for the Sapphire Jubilee celebration.
