2020 Canada - 5 ¢, 10 ¢, 25 ¢, $1 & $2 - 75th Anniversary of the End of the Second World War

Issued to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War (1945–2020), this keepsake set honours the courage and sacrifice of those who served. The special $2 commemorative coin, designed by artist Thomas Shingles, features a “V” for Victory and torch motif — originally seen on Canada’s 1943 nickel — symbolizing peace after years of conflict. Both coloured and non-coloured versions of the $2 coin are included, along with Canada’s 2020 circulation coins: 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, and $1. The obverse bears the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
