The reverse by Jesse Koreck features a double‑date (1921–2021), a maple leaf with a vial, flask, mortar & pestle, glucose molecules, red blood cells — with selective blue colour highlighting the insulin molecule as a symbol of diabetes awareness. The obverse bears the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. Brilliant Uncirculated coin carefully removed from a Royal Canadian Mint Special Wrap Roll.
