Issued to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day, this 2023 keepsake set honours the cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Canada. The highlight is the special $2 commemorative coin, designed by Métis artist Germaine Arnaktauyok and First Nations artist Cathy Elliott, featuring dynamic imagery representing the connection between people, land, and nature. Both coloured and non-coloured versions of the $2 coin are included, along with 2023’s standard circulation coins: 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, and $1. The obverse features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
