Issued in 2022 to mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic 1972 Canada–U.S.S.R. Summit Series. The colourized reverse by Joel Kimmel features two hockey players in Team Canada gear rising in front of a vibrant maple leaf highlighted in red, with “THE SERIES LA SÉRIE” and “50 YEARS ANS” inscriptions. The outer ring includes initials of coaches and jersey numbers from the 1972 roster  . The obverse bears the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. Coins come Brilliant Uncirculated, carefully removed from a Royal Canadian Mint Special Wrap Roll
